i’ve been using the ios app and often do not get any notification for an incoming message. seems i often dont get anything until i open the app again. is this a known issue?
Check your notification settings? There are different modes. You can switch to “always on” but this will impact your battery life.
They use their own notification service so that the notifications aren’t sent over Apple servers.

I’m referring to the setting in the app. Under notifications --> Notification service --> Always on
ah maybe the ios one doesnt have that? under there i just see send notifications, show preview, and push server options, plus a ‘test notifications’ (which does succeed). no ‘notification service’ option.
