Following the success of the original System Shock remaster, Nightdive Studios has now announced that the System Shock 2 remaster will be released on the 26th of June 2025. The announcement was made at the Future Game Show Spring Showcase via an entertaining and pulsating trailer. Nightdive Studios has announced the remaster of System Shock 2 is set to release on June 26th, 2025. The trailer shows an exciting revival of a sci-fi horror classic, available on PC and consoles.

  • Rebuilding: Utilizes Nightdive Studios’ proprietary KEX Engine for modern platforms
  • Features: Improved visuals, enhanced gameplay, cross-play co-op multiplayer, mod support, etc.

The original System Shock 2, released in 1999, revolutionized storytelling and atmosphere. It won over a dozen awards and was hailed as ‘Game of the Year.’
