I was looking around Lemmy to see if there were any live threads/discussions about the cycling races, like there is on Reddit, and I kinda miss it here. It’s nice to follow the race like this and catch up while at work. Never hosted anything like this so I wouldn’t know where or how to start, but would be nice if someone with some experience could (co-)host something like this! Cheers from Belgium!

    I usually watch races at night (like nokere koerse today) so try to avoid reading 😬 . But it’s always nice to talk about races (women & men) and debate about procycling topics

    so I encourage people talking here but use CW when talking specifics of race RESULTS 😄

      Watching races after they’ve finished… I could never! My fantasy cycling competition would also spoil it so yeah… But props to you tho!

        A couple of years ago there was a post on /r/formula1 with the title “If you could eliminate a race within the year, which would it be, and why?”. It was #1 on /r/all almost immediately.
