Just imagine the exchange between Cobel and Devon before Mark walks in the house.
“Okay, so once he becomes his innie, are we gonna talk to him?”
“You introduce yourself first. Get him comfortable before we speak.”
“Okay, so do you want to be in the next room over, or…?”
“I’ll go upstairs, give me a few minutes to light the fireplace and get my pose just right. Can you tell me if I’m in the exact center of the room?”

My biggest takeaways from this episode:
(1) Burt is not severed. Or has some memories of Irving
(2) Devon (marks sister) is not innocent or ignorant. It is this only explanation for why she quickly filled this role (besides bad writing). Basically in the simplest terms she is hiding something and knows more than we think she does. There is more connection with here than just being his sister.
