I’m not a Catholic, but lent seems like a good calendar excuse to stop drinking.
Dry January, Sober Spring, Sober October, Lent, “I’m on these new tablets and I can’t drink,” they’re all good “pauses” to use to reassess our relationship with alcohol, and consider if it’s a relationship we want to continue.
Why “excuse”? It’s a reason.
Any reason to stop drinking is good. Enjoy!
