I waited so long to come forward and tell my story because I didn’t think anyone would believe me. But now I want people to know what happened to me, because if knowing what happened to me could prevent it happening to them, then I want them to know.

      Sorry, I don’t use google. But I do know what an acronym is. It’s when you only take the initial letters of a phrase. Like SDF. That’s an acronym. Acronyms are also abbreviations, because they shorten the phrase.

        Not sure how they responded, but that’s technically not an acronym, as it would need to be sounded out as if a word (e.g. NASA or laser, but not CIA or UTI).

        SDF would be an initialism, but not an acronym. Just for your awareness.
