What do you do after you’ve caught the eye of the woman in the street?

This might be the fish that girl cared for after her master (seen in a few comics).
But i cannot find any reference for these 2 people.
The normal human look, clothes, lack of brainbus makes me think this is in the past somehow. That these are ancestors of girl somehow looking into the future. But then its a different fish.
