      When 7/9 was cut off from the network it begged to go back and felt horror and revulsion when ots implants began to decay. Janeway said tough nuts, you’re a human now whether you like it or not. Janeway is a kinphobe.

      Brainwashing is an orientalist trope so I feel like we are onto something there.

      I thought Hugh was depressed about being ripped out of his collective, scared of being infected with a logic virus.
