      A lot of it is just blindly going against peer pressure to be on the left, I think. Which is usually dumber than blindly following the crowd, which is already pretty dumb.

        Some are absolutely those anti-everything types, but I think most Republicans are just single issue voters with big blinders on so I expect they’re probably the same.

    It reminds me of when Trump won his first election by saying he’d protect the LGB, but then did something that was against their interests. A logcabin republican spoke out about it, and was met with “shut up [homophobic f-word]”
