This is a Eurorack panel for two 5 pin MIDI DIN sockets and two 3.5mm (TRS) sockets, suitable for use with the Expert Sleepers Disting Ex or Disting mk4, maybe other modules that support simple MIDI breakouts. It comes in two variations - a 4HP 3U version, or a 1U (Intellijel) version. There's a block of reinforcement at the back that makes it more rigid than the average 3D printed Eurorack panel.Compatible with common 'chassis mount' / 'panel mount' 5 pin DIN sockets like this or this, and 3.5 mm STEREO sockets like this or this (green ones). For wiring information refer to the Disting documentation and https://minimidi.world/ . I connect the matching TRS and DIN sockets - so the TRS and DIN (typically) cannot be used at the same time (you might get away with using both MIDI outputs, but using both MIDI inputs simultaneously will be glitchy and unreliable from passive merging).TIP: If you are using ribbon cable split into 2+2 wires like I did, you'll need to solder one (or both) of the DIN sockets AFTER inserting them into the face plate ! Also, you'll need to solder the sleeve wire on the 3.5mm sockets before inserting into the panel. Think ahead.I've been through several iterations of this - first using it as a 4HP 3U module with the MIDI DIN sockets only, then as a 1U module, then adding the TRS sockets. The photos here are of a slightly earlier version (alignment of the 1U mounting holes is now correct). Works well enough for my purposes - the one main deficiency I've noticed is the rail mounting holes can eventually break if you over-tighten the screws (seems to be an issue with most/all 3D printed Eurorack panels in my experience).
3D printable. To my knowledge, there isn’t another MIDI breakout for Disting that has both 5 pin MIDI DIN and TRS sockets.
