    This seems obvious.

    What is less obvious to me is why so many seem to have been comfortable voting for an open fascist as a protest vote for something not happening in their own country.

    “This is wrong, so I’m going to make sure the US gets way worse in solidarity. That’ll show the dems.”

    Put that energy behind housing prices.

      voting for an open fascist

      Both the major parties ran open fascists this year. The only people who didn’t vote for an open fascist are those who went third party or stayed home.

      The same number of voters voted Trump. Biden / Harris lost a shitload of votes instead. People stayed home because they didn’t want to support a genocide. They could easily switch it around - support the ceasefire, not deepthroat Israel and their crimes, and then rail on every single person that would’ve stayed home, about being so hellbent on evil, that they stayed home in support of genocide.
