I can never get over how young and innocent Buscemi is here. Practically every other role he does is sleazy or outright terrifying. The only comparable character is the guy he plays in Ghost World, with Thora Birch and a pre-stardom Scarlet Johansson.

Yes, I recall him in “Flight” the Denzel Washington vehicle, and I thought boy has Goodman lost a LOT of weight!
He’s such a good actor. In a way I would’ve loved for him to have more screen time here but tbh the relative rarity makes it even better.
