Boeing and its union of 33,000 members reached a tentative deal on Saturday that could win workers a 35% wage increase and end a strike hampering the company’s production, per the proposal.

    It will be a shame if they take this. They should have gotten the 40% they were demanding. Unfortunately, I understand the desire of the union to not press its resources.

      They should have had 1 demand:

      All McD executives must resign immediately without bonuses or severerance compensation of any kind.

      Without this condition, Boeing has 0 chance to survive.

        Boeing effectively is the US military, so it’s in zero danger of going out of business, no matter how incompetently it’s run.

          You have no idea what you’re talking about.

          Lockheed Martin is the US military.

          Boeing is, I don’t know, the USN’s attempt to wear daddy’s clothes.

          They can go out of business easily, the only thing they’re really good at it lobbying congress, and they’re still a distant second to LM.
