RaccoonForFriendica is the most complete app ever seen for Friendica and, in addition to working with Mastodon, it might be the only app in the world capable of managing the potential of Mastodon Glitch-soc

Very cool will check this out

The idea of people viewing the whole ActivityPub protocol’s potential through the deliberately stripped down and self-sabotaging platform of default Mastodon is still so sad to me

Would you care to expand on this? So far, my fediversal journey has revolved around Lemmy, and I’ve recently been thinking I could probably augment this w/ Mastodon, but what do you mean when you say Mastodon is stripped down?

Search is really useless and made even worse by federation never working as intended (even after subscribing), just try any of the Misskey forks and you will see what I mean. There are too many things to list.

Just a heads up that for some reason your title text is showing HUGE on my Lemmy app - possibly that’s intentional, but hopefully not. Assuming not, you probably need to delete the hash/pound symbol at the start.

Might just be me, of course :-)

Originally they started the title with … Sigh … A hashtag. In markdown, starting a line with this makes it a header, which generally increases the size of the text. Probably your client tried to respect this, though I think it’s unusual for a client to do that for a post title.
