Correct me if I’m wrong, but afaik Mailbox.org is not encrypted (beyond standard TLS, that is).
Their main selling point used to be bring-your-own-domain emails for 1€/mo but they changed their pricing to a more average 3€/mo earlier this year.

How is the Protonmail mobile client compared to fastmail? Just asking in case someone has used both.
I really like Fastmail though. So many useful features everywhere and it’s very fast.
I realize I have no privacy from governments however. Fastmail is part of 5 eyes pact.
It seems to work fine for me. Haven’t received any problems. If you’re interested in getting protonmail and protonvpn, proton unlimited is a really sweet plan, really recommend it. Proton has really good support as well.

It sounds like they followed Swiss law and then worked to update the laws to prevent it from happening again, all while never sharing the contents of any emails (which they can’t because they’re encrypted).

The police was able to get just the IP addresses. Hide your IPs with Tor for political activism, etc.

If your account is that sensitive, generally no. Fastmail wouldn’t escape the court order to turn over some email account’ IPs either. Plus, for accounts that are not e2e encrypted, the law may just demand the contents of the account.
If you have the state actors as enemies, you have to dial up your securities to a different category altogether.

This is likely because the app has been cached by the OS and then once it loads realizes it needs to prompt for authentication again. I see the same thing happening with work apps like teams and Outlook where it opens to what I had been previously looking at before locking and asking for authentication.

Tutanota needs a native mail client that’s not based on electron. It feels like a chore to open new emails in their current apps.
I use tutanota and really dig it. I basically only give its email address to more important things and let gmail be a junk mail now.
