The grill is made from ASA so acetone could be used to weld the little section in place.

That’s awesome! What’s the replacement piece printed out of? I’ve got a few pieces of my battered and beaten car missing. I’ve not put enough thought into what kind of plastic would be best in the wild weather conditions.
That’s quite the invisible mend.
I could’ve sanded it smooth and make it virtually disappear but I like those little victories so much, I don’t mind being reminded bout it at a car wash.
