Goddamn Oprah better not bring us the AI version of Dr Phil…or the AI version of Dr Oz…or the AI version of any of the quack nutjob grifters she platformed during her career, really.
That’s exactly what she’s doing. She’s their puppet. Get the people comfortable with it. Get them to trust it. Embrace the insanity. Business as usual.

Seems to me that the most expensive and best candidate to replace on a television talk show is the host. LLMs seem sufficiently adept at summarizing the guest’s platform and asking leading questions.
Just kidding, it’ll end up being those journalists, researchers, and writers who make the show possible.
