    He’s certainly polarizing isn’t he?

I liked the guy for a minute when all I knew is that he was involved in EV’s and renewable energy and such. That sentiment died real quick though!

    Edit: Added the polarizing bit.

I think the number of people who would blindly defend Musk is negligible nowadays and is alsl shrinking further day by day.

Your response is a much chiller version of rat by Penelope Scott

It’s a relatable song for anyone who is an ex-musk fan. I think his tanking of Twitter probably did the most damage to his reputation more than anything else.

Chill was somewhat a choice. Ranting about a controversial public figure on the internet feels like screaming in the wind to me (I don’t say that to dissuade others, just my opinion). And it fits my interpretation of be(e) nice besides.

For whatever reason the hyperlink to the song wouldn’t show on my lemmy client or the instance page, but the song is rat by Penelope Scott if anyone else is curious and has the same problem. And yes, I can identify with that!

The incessant need for men to worship powerful men whether that’s Warlords, dictators, CEOs or celebrities is fucking out of hand and has to be genetic. Some kind of leftover survival mechanism about following the pack/tribe leader.

It needs to be shamed out of us somehow. Fucking dickriders.
