I didn’t tend to watch these because of distaste for gore and human lives being lost (in a thoroughly unnecessary expansionist conflict) but, robot on robot violence with stone age technology does make me snicker a bit.
Reminds me of British pilots using their wings to tip V1 rockets into the ocean.

I thought there must be something better than a stick, like threads or something but a stick works so yeah, go go stick!
That’s a genius idea! Put something fluttery like string or a kite tail on the end of the stick. Then you just have to get close enough to the prop to tangle it.
Plenty of super strong lightweight materials indeed. Maybe even a net gun type thing can be used.
Chain? Waxed twine?
