“Veronica” and “Karen” are both names used to characterize specific negative traits in female individuals. While Karen is associated with entitled, demanding, and often racially insensitive behavior, particularly in middle-aged women, Veronica represents Karen and takes it to the next level of embodiment of evil and malevolence.

Both names serve as cultural shorthand to describe certain objectionable behaviors or characteristics. However, it’s crucial to recognize that these labels can perpetuate stereotypes and might not fairly represent every individual named Veronica or Karen.

Why have I created this sub? I married a Veronica and spent over the last 10 years of living hell sharing a child with her.

It’s important to understand that sometimes the abusive person in a relationship may be suffering from a personality disorder. Narcissistic and Borderline personality disorders seem to be relevant in such relationships. The victims of persons with these disorders should detach from the relationship the best they can, and seek help from a mental health expert. If detaching is hard to do, (as is my case) it might be best to brace yourself for the long haul of abuse and get support from a mental health professional or others that have suffered from this abuse. There are plenty of support groups online if you search for them.

Although my intention is not revenge, I actually find it quite fulfilling to create these memes and they provide a sense of satisfaction to me. They just apply so well, and they help me recover from the PTSD, pain and suffering that she has caused me for more than a decade.
