The new King Gizzard album is out!! What’s everyone’s thoughts?

I think the album absolutely rips. I loved Infest The Rats Nest and this is shaping up to be even more metal, more thrash, more prog.

Dragon was my favorite single release; but my favorite song on the album might be Flamethrower. It’s nuts!

    I’ve listened to this album several times and it’s easily far better than Rats Nest, but up there amongst their best albums to date. Standouts for my are Witchcraft, Gila and Dragon in sequence. Cavs is definitely channeling some sake power because his drums are bonkers.

      Cavs is absolutely nuts on this. I’ve relistened several times and have tried to focus on the drums and I discover new bits each time where I just can’t wrap my brain around how he’s making it work and SOUND so good.

    I love it.

    I’m not a fully paid up member of the metal scene, although I’m listening to more and more of it these days, but I’ll follow king gizzard wherever they go!
