“If I give him money, the good lord Orange Shitstain will rain his wealth down on me once he grabs power and kills all his political opponents. Then, he will call me personally, thank me for the $23.56 I gave him to help him out and invite me to be vice president, and we will imprison and kill everyone I don’t like. Then we will get in my car and fly to the moon to become the moon emperor!”

I’m not convinced they’ve actually raised that money. They are trying to spin the verdict as a win in every way they can and I haven’t seen any independent verification.

Sadly, the working class people fall for the duopoly propaganda all the time, it is not completely thier fault; we are born into this systematically broken system, that is working as it should, for the owner class.

That is why we must continue to be willing to speak to those that do not agree or think like we do!

I have a feeling this story could be found on somewhere other than Fox News. Might be interesting to discuss, but not if it’s coming from Fox.

Sadly, this can be applied to anyone from the duopoly.

Grassroots is a great thing, but corporations have billions to ‘invest’ in politicians, so they can pass thier laws and more war.

We have legalized bribery in the US, which they call lobbying.

Anyone donating to trump should be ineligible for social services. If they wanna piss their money away, I support that 100%, but don’t make me subsidize it.

Careful on your thinking process, it seems like a ‘slippery slope’, as people say.

Donating to any politicial campaign should not infringe on anyones rights.

This would easly be used against the poiliticial party you stand by as well.

Many examples where this kind of thinking just makes it much worse for the working class.

If you’re donating money to and supporting the person/party trying to take away your own and other’s social services, you should forfeit eligibility to receive said services. I don’t see any slopes with this.

Better solution: enforce public campaign funding and ban all private donations and funding/advertising for political campaigns.
