While the long-lived Z80 continues on in Z180 and eZ80 forms, the standalone DIP-packaged variants' days are numbered.

      I’m not surprised that the Z80 is around but I’m surprised that the DIP version is!

      That Morrow sounds like the opposite end of the Z80 spectrum from the Sinclair ZX81 I started on. And my kids still use calculators with Z80s in them. Amazing how long it has endured.
