I have an Hybrid job. We meet every 2 weeks for sprint retro and planning. (kinda WFH with meetings i guess?)
Quite happy, a good way to catch up with stuff others were doing (the daily meetings dont convey this very well as they are short).
It helps me keep in touch, but i guess with more or full WFH, this would also work some other way for me.
It really depends on the Company and the Team. If the majority needs physical interaction, so be it.
When we meet, its at an Office place i am not registered at, so it counts as Business Trip with Accomodation and paid food. That makes it somewhat better. Still lost some time of course.
It becomes shit when its forced from above from managers and Execs with no regard for the actual work and Team ethics.
