That’s bad, I agree. But it’s no worse than reddit and at least there isn’t a corporate entity behind it.
It will also be much, much easier to switch to something more private that emerges down the line.
Reddit was the same way, just now the operators are community members instead of corporations. Am I missing something? I don’t get the fear of this if it was okay when reddit did it.
