Let’s see your rankings.
For me, it’s:
- Stargate SG-1, Seasons 1-8
- Stargate Atlantis
- Stargate (1994)
- Stargate Continuum
- Stargate Universe
- Stargate Ark of Truth
I love all Stargate, but I have to admit that my favorite Stargate is MacGyver Stargate. After four long years of Jack being gone, Stargate Continuum made me so happy, I just can’t describe it. It was very special. To me, Continuum was peak Stargate.
- SG-1
- Stargate
- Atlantis / Universe
- Continuum / Ark of Truth
All Stargate is good Stargate. I’ll be honest though, I barely remember Continuum or Ark at this point. Last doesn’t mean bad, however. I really liked Browder and Black.
Atlantis was a complete show with some hokey writing. I’m also Canadian, so boy was it fun the Canadian character was a complete hoser.
Universe died in the cradle, but their initial plan would have been incredible I think. The whole late season… twist, was drummed up to give the show an “ending” when informed of the last minute cancellation.
You know, my first watch, I loved Atlantis because throughout the whole SG-1 watch I was just waiting for big, flashy tech and spaceships. Now re-watching as an adult, I can’t help but feel SG-1 was the better series. The episodes where they’re in a real jam and can’t just fake science their way out of it are the best.
I love how so far the answers act like “Catherine” doesn’t exist. Probably for the best. It was definitely the worst.
Not to mention the animated one
