Maybe you’re new to c/stopdrinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you’re like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you’ve been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.
It doesn’t matter if you’re still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, let’s not drink alcohol!
I will not drink with you today. I have the day off so I will be catching up on some cleaning, cooking a favorite meal of mine for my wife and I, playing some videos games together and then ending the day with some episodes of Star Trek.

Which Star Trek? I’m so far behind. I got paramount plus just to watch the new shows and still haven’t.
The next generation. We are watching it for the first time and are on season 3 right now. The only other Star Trek we have seen was voyager. I watched that as a kid growing up when it was on TV and my wife really enjoyed it when we watched it again a while back.
Honestly, it was all the hilarious Star Trek memes on lemmy, especially the ones I didn’t understand without having watched the show that convinced us to start watching TNG and it’s been fantastic!
It’s a great show. They all are. DS9 is also great! There’s some crossover between TNG and DS9 too.
