Fast forward 20yrs, living in town, have a family and we still do the same. Water is a valuable resource everywhere; a bit of piss in the dunny really isn’t a big deal.

The dam had to be released which swelled the river and spilled into suburbs along it. In hindsight, we all should’ve been under direction to waste as much water possible in the months leading up to it.
