That massive spike of 50c/kWh at the left looks tiny compared to today even though that’s already insanely expensive

    I think it’s actually closer to 100%, if not actually 100% due to it being a resistive load. All electricity not used for processing gets expelled as heat, so for the purposes of heating a room, 100% efficiency.

    I think heat pumps are still more efficient, though, due to getting heat from outside, but not 100% sure on that.
