Community members in a Tennessee school district want to banish Satan from their children’s halls after the formation of a new club was announced.

The After School Satan Club (ASSC) wants to establish a branch in Chimneyrock elementary school in the Memphis-Shelby county schools (MSCS) district.

    Sorry (not sorry), Christians - religious freedom means freedom to practice ALL religions. This is categorically a constitutional matter, and you do not have a legal recourse to halt this (nor should you).

        After School Satan is a program of The Satanic Temple, they’re a religion in name only. More like a civil rights group who uses the guise of a religion to prove a point. Satan as a symbol of freedom, not as a literal deific figure.

        After School Satan is an after-school club meant as a parody and foil to things like the “Good News Club”, but instead of teaching religion, they teach science and rationalism, play board games, and do arts n crafts, while religious proselytizing is forbidden at the club in any form, including of Satanism.
