I also liked being able to see who’s online in my servers with a simple swipe left and then right again to close it, instead of having to push two buttons. I reply a lot less often than I check who’s around, and the new swipe-to-reply is barely faster than the old hold-to-reply so it’s a huge annoyance to me that they made two normal actions into one slightly better action and one annoying one.
