It is for cooling, the tagline even mentions it. I guess it must be the kind where they dump the hot water instead of running it through a giant coil to cool and then recycling it.
Edit: Evaporation is also apparently very significant once it’s discharged. I wonder if that actually has climate effects all on it’s own, comparable to plant transpiration.
