Are you watching Strange New Worlds?
As a diehard Trekkie since 1987, I can say it’s already one of my top 3 shows
A. They have a live orchestra performing quite a bit of the score, like old Trek. Makes a difference
B. They’re having fun
C. The characters work
D. Pike is sexy af
It’s a great Trek show.
Pike is just “ok”. His hair, on the other hand…
Hard agree, first true trek we got after 2000
Lower Decks and Prodigy aren’t standard Trek but they’re both fantastic, too.
It was way better than expected, i am enjoying it a lot. Don’t forget to go check out the communities over at startrek.website!

Came back to this thread to say I LOVE Strange New Worlds so far! I liked Picard well enough, but just couldn’t get into Discovery after a couple tries, though I can’t articulate why (???). SNW seems to hit just right.
Same, it’s downloading now haha.
What do you think so far? I’ve been loving Strange New Worlds!
I haven’t had a chance to watch any episodes yet, but it looks pretty interesting. The kids like to hog the TVs on summer break haha.
