minus-square@deegeese@sopuli.xyzlinkfedilinkEnglish1•9 months agoNeither did I until I tried running torrents > 100GB. There was some bug in the way it was using Java’s non-blocking IO and buffer classes that caused resource starvation with very large torrents.
I dropped Transmission because I found it had severe performance problems with very large torrents. qBittorrent has been great.
