Who is “we” and why do they get to decide whether other countries exist?

Whoa cool down there Adolph. Nobody should be whether another group/culture/society/country should exist.

You can choose not to do business or interact with them, but that’s about it.

The CCP leadership lined up against a wall so we could finally stop their genocides and their people could know freedom?

Sounds like a happy outcome to me, them too.

Tbh being so restrictive is doing a favor to the rest of the world.

With no access to most social networks they’re losing most outsourcing opportunities (why hire a Chinese dev that can’t access GitHub or your company intranet via VPN when you can spend the same money on an Indian dev?)

Same for manufacturing. They decided to restrict any kind of travel for more than two years, meaning if western companies wanted to visit the factories they were literally forced to move production to Vietnam or India

Can you imagine if they didn’t have the strict one child policy what ecological disaster would have been for the rest of the world. Or if everyone living in China would want to live like an American with a truck and an individual big house and lots of single use stuff
