minus-squareChewylinkfedilink1•edit-210 months agoNot the open source nvidia drivers. They don’t support reclocking so there’s no way to get any useable results for gaming (and if not for gaming, why use an nvidia gpu anyway? Compute isn’t supported in nouveau anyway). Edit: typo

minus-square@entropicdriftlink1•10 months agoThe open source Nvidia drivers are part of Mesa. You were talking about RADV and RadeonSI, the open-source AMD drivers in Mesa.
Not the open source nvidia drivers. They don’t support reclocking so there’s no way to get any useable results for gaming (and if not for gaming, why use an nvidia gpu anyway? Compute isn’t supported in nouveau anyway).
