I would guess most of them are extremely reliant on his patronage. He wasn’t even that good a footballer in his day. It’s just a boys club where he uses RFEF money to throw orgies and they like beng protected from any fallout from their ridiculous machismo, I guess.
Rubiales has certainly a lot to say about the rfef leaders, otherwise they wouldn’t stand behind him like they do.

Awful for Hermoso but ultimately good for Spanish football, I think. It’s gone beyond ridiculous and the inevitable fall will be glorious.
Maybe they have similar, entitled, macho opinions.
