Wasn’t blocked for me, but yeah it was like 4 x’s to read the article.
Here’s their so summary at the top.
Key Insights
EV battery lifespan: Most EV batteries last 15-20 years, with an average degradation rate of about 1.8% per year under moderate conditions.
Impact of charging methods: Frequent use of DC fast charging can accelerate battery degradation, especially in hot climates. Level 2 charging is gentler on the battery.
Best practices for battery health: To extend EV battery life, keep the state of charge 20%-80%, minimize exposure to extreme temperatures and limit fast charging when possible.
It’s included by default in some browsers, notably IronFox on mobile. It’s easy enough to ignore it or even disable the filter entirely. I like to keep it on to give me pause because usually those sites are indeed low quality. But they’re not harmful.
BTW all filters in uBlock are “third party”. They just bundle a lot of them for convenience.

Why are they focusing on just the battery? I know people with Tesla model 3’s on the original battery but the 4th motor.
Teslas are much more likely to be bricked by a dead computer module, touchscreen, or motor failure.
Because the article is about batteries and charging. The article is not about Tesla and baby hippos.
It’s the bit people freak out about and need reassuring about.
not for me, what error do you get?
