Iran is just hoping they can influence US elections, thinking that a divided government in the US will produce more favorable results for them. It likely will not. After elections, pro-Israel Democrats will separate from anti-Israel Democrats and join with Republicans to continue action against Iran. At that point, Iran will have to shift strategy.
By putting out statements timed to be part of the public conscience, reminding people of the war. Our attention spans are short enough we would forget if it were not for the constant reminder. Heck, 90% of the population has forgot about the Epstein documents.

I’m confused how you think these are bad things? Pointing out corruption and illegal activities?
