Go ahead, defend yourself, tell me how hard you try to fight for human rights and justice and against fascism

We murdered a bunch of children. Again.

But, hey, no, tell me how this isn’t your fault, how placing blame isn’t helpful, how the oligarchs and the aristocrats and the fascists- it’s all their fault, not you - you voted for a different president

you just live here, and you try hard, you’re not responsible for how bad things have gotten, or for changing them. youre just one person. individuals arent responsible for such atrocities

I mean, everybody is or nobody is- this is a system the people control, or it isn’t- if we aren’t in control, well, when’s the revolution? and if we are? well, there’s 123 children that we murdered.

Just, you know, in case you need a heads up on just how effective your current level of effort is in keeping our government from murdering children. Whether or not you want to increase that level of effort is up to you. Surely paying attention every few years and voting for whoever has the right capital letter by their name is enough

No one will be held accountable, as if the murder of dozens of children is just an unavoidable byproduct of hundreds of millions of people trying as hard as we can to just live our lives, and, you know, not murder children

ed: Im sorry if it hurts to read, I am. But I think we’d all be better off if hundreds of millions of people were less “out of sight, out of mind,” and took a little more ownership of the atrocities committed in our names. They arent abstractions in a far away land, theyre children who we killed by attacking a school
