I’m thinking Halfling is a given, 1 level of Nature Cleric to get all armor proficiencies, guidance, and most importantly Shillelagh for the vibe of whacking things with a magic stick.

Then 6 Swords Bard for Extra Attack and several on-theme spells. If I make sure Bard is always my most recent new class, Shillelagh should run off Charisma.

Round it out with 5 levels of some sort of Rogue for 3d6 sneak attack that should play nicely with Durge’s invisibility cloak. Swashbuckler plays off Charisma further, but Arcane Trickster gives more spell slots? Thief would give two bonus actions so I still have one after I Shillelagh up.

Thoughts?

I would use a gnome rather than a halfling, they’re specifically good at illusions and they’re smaller than halflings.

That said I feel this build would be better in a real game of dnd since illusion magic kinda sucks in video games by comparison.
