I didn’t, I bounced hard off it after my first few encounters with them. That and the distance between save points. Which I get is to add tension, but it just felt tedious for me. Now I’m feeling like I should give it more of a chance.
Id say if you have time give it a bit more of a go. Its a very short game like 8 hours long, i found still wakes the deep a bit harder to get through towards the end cos the enemy encounters were so much more tedious. You can infact just shoot and run for the robots there are batteries everywhere. The later encounters shooting doesn’t do anything and the hiding gameplay feels a lot more organic as areas get a bit bigger and puzzles more complex, feels more akin to alien isolation. Which makes the robots the androids I guess lel
