just spent the last 30 minutes in this lovely heat scraping gorilla glue off the back of some baseboards so I don’t have to repaint all the trim in the room.
if you have to adhere trim, use latex silicone caulking. it will stretch with the swelling and shrinkage of the trim keeping it attached to the wall AND make it much easier to scrape off for the next guy.

I usually nail trim to the bed.
Weird, I always just used sheets and a blanket.
it totally should be. in my case it’s actually box trim around a hidden sliding door. there’s very little to grab onto so the previous guy just glued everything directly to the plasterboard.
it’s finally installed, but still was a pita to scrape all that damn glue off.
