The symbol is called the Symbol of Chaos, which was designed by Michael Moorcock for his fictional worlds.

For some reason my brain keeps telling me the symbol’s name is “The Sign of Chaos”, but that is not its name. “Sign of Chaos” is the name of the eighth installment in Zelazny’s “The Chronicles of Amber”, so maybe that’s why my brain keeps going there instead of the “Symbol of Chaos”.
