Seriously? That seems bonkers!
Yeah, the discussion around that has been stale for quite a while. It’s a shame because otherwise I find Logseq incredible, enough that I begrudgingly put up with it anyway.
Athens looks very close to the Roam/Logseq paradigm and seems to support self hosting, although I haven’t tried myself. Another option is Foam, but it lives inside vscode so it’s an entirely different approach.
Edit: It seems Athens is no longer under active development, I’d missed that.
