You’re right, I’ve never thought about that, but the prequels were an atrocity committed by yes-men, the sequels were committed by lazy writing and studio interference.
Reddit /r/StarWars was way too devoted to repeating the same memes about how bad the ST was. Most of those memes are actually false and indicated people spent more time watching youtube videos about the ST rather than the movies themselves. It gets frustrating debunking the same dumb memes over and over.
Why not just post about the things in Star Wars you like? Why spend time discussing movies you don’t like?
Almost? The sequels were an an absolute mess. Where do I even start?
The prequels had their own problems, sure, but they did not reach the lazy lows of the sequels.
