minus-square@howrar@lemmy.calinkfedilink2•2 months agoI’ve had the opposite experience. The older the pasta, the longer it takes to cook. If it cooks faster, that suggests to me that it has absorbed water during storage, which allows harmful bacteria to grow and the pasta might actually be expired.
Imagine a bag of minute pasta saying “warning, after expiration, pasta may cook in 59 seconds”.
