Found on reddit. I’m told the reason for their visit is to intimidate the Haitian immigrant community there.

No, you’re just being a “both sides bad” style centrist, so the proper move is to ignore your terrible opinion.

Well, I’m relieved you know how to draw a line somewhere.

Right now it seems like I’m having a discussion with a bunch of people who think murder is okay.

But maybe I’m just not communicating my point clearly enough.

        1. Nazis are far, far worse than y’all condoning unjustified vigilante vehicular manslaughter; there’s no both-sides to this (if I had no other choice, I’d pick the murder—but thankfully there are other choices)
        2. Only from what is in the photo and it’s title, people are calling for murder
        3. I welcome actual criticism of my position; mostly I’ve gotten attacks on my character
        4. It is okay to offer constructive criticism to someone for calling for murder as the only solution, so they can seek out more effective solutions and learn to better direct and express their anger
        5. I don’t agree fascists aren’t people, and I think it’s dangerous to believe that
        6. I hope there are enough people on the anti-fascist side who would like to save violence for closer to the last resort, so I don’t have to live in a war zone
        7. Non-violent responses can shut their shit down, which means we wouldn’t be “doing nothing about it” as people keep commenting
        8. It’s much harder and much less rewarding to do this the hard way
        9. It really seems like the nazi killing is a fantasy since I don’t ever hear about it being done, and no one in this thread will comfort us with the news they took out one of them for all of us, risking their life and their freedom
        10. If nazis are a lost cause (as you seem to be saying), then why not focus on engaging non-nazis in becoming better people?

Centrists like you who gave fascists like them an inch is how they murdered millions upon millions. Never again. There are all sorts of mind virus cults, but Nazis are a the most dangerous, destructive, industrially homicidal cultists that have ever lived. Compassion and empathy is lost on them because they’ll take advantage of that to murder us. I say shoot them because it’s quick.

Name calling doesn’t help the case for justifying murder. Nothing I’m writing is centrist; you are misunderstanding or ignoring what I wrote. Not sure why you included that in your comment.

These people in the photo should never be allowed to intimidate anyone. We must stop them. They need to abandon their bigotry and cease their desire to harm others.

Telling you that there is a way do that without murder doesn’t give them an inch.

When I say I’m not in favor of running them over doesn’t stop you from running them over.

I don’t know why so many replying to me seem so threatened by the possibility that nonviolent action could solve the nazi problem. I can still fight nazis in other ways other than muddling them. I listed ways to improve society mentioned in my other comments that would inoculate potential future nazis before they turn.

No one here has convinced me to start killing. For all the passion in this thread, I don’t get the sense any of y’all have backed up your words with action yet. I would like to hear an update on how that works out for you afterwards. Maybe that’ll be what sways me to join the killings.

For now, I haven’t given up hope that other effective options have failed. Fighting their demented ideology at the source is going to be far more effective in the long run. This isn’t about compassion for them, but dismay about your bloodlust, lack of creativity, and oversimplification of the world. I believe you can do better.

I agree with your point that nazis are dangerous. I disagree about shooting them being the best/only solution.
