Well, yes, but I meant it much more broadly - the election threads are full of hot takes from people all over, who all point out, quite correctly, that whatever happens in the election will also end up affecting them.
It’s just an unfortunate circumstance that they don’t have any first hand experience of the process, with it’s many (and sometimes bizarre) quirks, so sometimes the hot takes are not as well informed as they otherwise would be.
Oh . . no, they - they’re not Americans. They just have thoughts to share from, y’know wherever. Canada, Germany, . . .other. Places.
