YouTube is running an experiment asking some users to disable their ad blockers or pay for a premium subscription, or they will not be allowed to watch videos.
For AppleTV, have a look at Yattee. It’s a YouTube front-end with no tracking and no ads. Downside is obviously no algorithm, so you need to make some effort to find your own stuff. Maybe that’s an upside anyway.
I have it as well . Very good alternative front end. It does however relies on an invidious instance, and that project is under fire by YouTube atm. Hope it will survive
